North Park Trail Runners is a fast-growing nonprofit organization. Our members share a passion for trail running. The current board members have fulfilled their two-year commitment and all seven roles are up for election. Help us shape the future of our organization by joining the board.

For an opportunity to serve on the board, follow these steps:
- Are you a member of NPTR? If not, please join prior to February 10th, which is when the election process starts. Link to join.
- Starting Wednesday, February 10th, self-nominate by sending an email to NorthParkTrailRunners@gmail.com stating your name and position of interest. (See below for list of positions.) You may only run for one position.
- Thursday, February 24th is the last day to self-nominate.
- You must be a member of NPTR. You must have joined by February 10th, 2021, to participate in this year's election. Link to join.
- Voting will take place on Sunday, March 14th. (Fun fact: this happens to be Pi Day as well as the start of Daylight Savings!)
- Weather permitting, Harmar Pavilion will be the voting location. Voting must take place in person. No proxy voting.
- Group runs from Harmar will take place on voting day to coincide with the 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. voting timeframe.
- President: represent North Park Trail Runners vision/mission in all public interactions; facilitate the development and execution of NPTR's long-term goals.
- Vice President: assume the responsibilities of the president in his/her absence. Support the long-term goals of the organization.
- Treasurer: manage budget, prepare financial reports, file taxes.
- Director at Large (4 positions): support the agreed-upon long-term goals; key focus areas include: group runs, volunteerism, membership, marketing, outreach /growth and special events.
- Have fun! First and foremost, you're joining of team of people who love to run trails! You're collaborating with individuals who share a passion for running and a desire to strengthen our organization.
- Contribute to the organization in ways that you enjoy, including but not limited to: event planning, event marketing, photography, co-leading runs, sweeping at group runs, social media, website development and much more. The sky is the limit.
- The board meets once a month.
