Winterfells Challenge
January 2026: The cold bites harder up north—and that’s exactly where the Winterfells Challenge lives. This Strava-based battle sends runners across rolling frozen miles with two ways to prove themselves: the Full, a 13-mile gauntlet with 6 brutal climbs, or the Mini, 6 miles featuring 3 hill tests that still hit like a hammer. Every climb, every mile, every shiver earns points toward glory on the leaderboard. No crowds, no cowbells—just you, the frost, and the hills daring you to rise above them. Earn your points, your pride, and your frostbite-free bragging rights.

Frozen Goat Challenge
February 7, 2026: Winter doesn’t scare us—it fuels us. Starting from the North Park Ice Rink, runners can tackle any or all of four rugged trail loops ranging from 4–6 miles, for up to 20 frosty miles total. Snow, slush, or ice, the Goat keeps charging. Warm up afterward at our legendary chili and soup cook-off, where bragging rights are on the line and the spoons are ready. Earn your miles, your heat, and your horns.

Green Mile Loop Challenge
September 12, 2026: Green Mile will be back for the 10th edition. 6 hours. 1 loop. Run as many times as you can—or want. Each ~2-mile loop packs 300 feet of climb on shaded singletrack from Deer Browse 2 Pavilion. Runners of all levels take on the challenge, tally their loops, and earn raffle tickets for prizes from local shops and restaurants. Awards go to our high-volume loopers, and everyone enjoys a post-run lunch.

North Ridge Nightmare Race
October 24, 2026: The Nightmare Returns – 6th Edition. The trails come alive this Halloween as the Nightmare makes its haunting return! Runners face their fears with a choice of 6.66K or 13K through the dark woods, with costumed ghouls haunting the way. After crossing the finish line, the fun continued with trick-or-treating, a festive post-race party, and plenty of chills and laughs. Custom-crafted overall awards and spooky-yet-useful age group prizes rewarded the fastest souls, while every entry helped us put more magic back into our local trails and park.
